INSTRUCTIONS For PU Jobs

1. Upper age limit: 55 years (relaxable by two year’s by the competent authority on recommendation of the Selection Beard).
2. In the first instance, the candidates who fulfill the criteria laid down for the post of Professor by HEC would be considered and candidate selected from among them would be appointed as Director in BS-21.
3. If no candidate meets the requirements prescribed for the post of professor, then candidates who fulfill the criteria set for the post of associate professor by HEC will be considered.
4. The appointment would be made for a a tenure of four years.
5. Candidates are required to provide the following information in addition to filling out the online application form:
   a) Length of Service
   b) Number of Research publication (Mention Impact Factor/Category)/Books/Monographs/Patents
   e) Academic performance (number . of M.Phil./PhD. or Ph.D. Research grants HEC best teacher award)
   d) Post-PhD Qualification
   e) Administrative experience
   Foreign degree holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by the HEC.
6. The candidates applying should submit an application along with photocopies of testimonials, research work publications, photographs (1×1), of a certificate of any distinction, etc., on the prescribed form.
7. Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel by due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and former employers otherwise, their applications will not be entertained.
8. The candidates should submit a separate list of attached documents with their signatures.
9. The candidates should mention the date of Notification Result and time period of the degree in the relevant column of prescribed form
10. Research publication shall be accepted as per peevailing HEC policy.

11. It is mandatory for candidates to deposit for Rs.5000/- in any Branch of HBL or UBL
12. The fee must be deposited on the prescribed challan form to be generated online, and original Receipt must be provided along with hard copy of application form.
13. No Bank Draft or Pay Order or Cheque or any such instrument will be accepted as fee by the University.
14. Applications received without fee deposit receipts shall be rejected.

16. The hard copies of on-line application form, complete in all respect, should reach in the office of the Registrar (Human Resource Branch, Admin Block, Room No.19), University of the Punjab Quaid-e-Azam Campus, Labere, during office hours, within 6 days of the closing date of advertisement through registered post. By hand application will not be accepted.
